THE TANTAJO RECORDING STUDIO was founded 1995 from Alberto Hauss and his partners. The acoustic and technique was developed by H. Dethloff. Since then many dance and pop chart hits have been created by Alberto Hauss in this studio as producer and song writer (see below)
After two years in the South of France producing on his Laptop he returned to Hamburg. Hence there followed a re-launch of the studio with new and vintage equipment.
ALBERTO HAUSS started writing
and producing with his former production team MATIZ in
the mid 80´s. Their first success was with latin dance
acts like CHOCOLATE and MYSTIC, house and soul legend OLIVER
CHEATHAM and BEATS 4YOU. After the success of U96, DAS BOOT,
he produced with Irish singer Cora O´Donnovan
the band FREUD for the US- market. Remixes followed for ARETHA
FRANKLIN, STING/SCHOENER and DIANA ROSS. Also song-writing
for CULTURE BEAT, BOYTRONIC, DANA WINNER and ATC.
With Alberto's background of Latin influence music and European
club style he started the project TERRA DEL SOL in 2002
three albums followed. With new partner GLENN PAYNE he founded
Tantajo Records UK.
First release will be LA TIENDA mediterranean ambiance.
